Trivia Host Extraordinare

“When “work from home” started to drag on, we needed a way for our attorneys to socialize with each other, from home, across offices, and with new recruits. Christian’s custom trivia events are the perfect combination of something fun to do, with or without cocktails, both in large group and team breakouts, that naturally facilitates getting-to-know-you conversations. Give him a theme and let him run with it, you won’t be disappointed; he handles the tech and emcee duties seamlessly. For 2021, we are planning a firm executive staff trivia tournament as well as client trivia nights.”

Marketing Director at an AmLaw 100 Law Firm

Since 2014, I’ve hosted weekly trivia nights at bars, restaurants, and venues across DC. I currently host Monday nights at Breadsoda in Glover Park, Tuesday nights at Exiles Bar DC on U Street, and Wednesday nights at Reliable Tavern in Petworth.

Additionally, I have hosted in-person private events for all kinds of groups and organizations, including non-profits, schools, law firms and other private organizations, and Congressional offices.

I have also taken my high-flying, knowledge-dropping trivia events into an online virtual environment, making for an engaging, entertaining, socially distant event.

Trivia Topics

I can customize the trivia however you would like. I have hosted trivia about everything from Harry Potter, to The Office, to Game of Thrones and everything in between! I can also simply create fun general knowledge questions catered to your crowd.  My goal is always to make the best possible event for YOU!

“Christian's trivia night was such a hit with our elementary school parents and staff! In a year when it has been hard to foster community, trivia night was the perfect solution. Parents, teachers, and even a few kids played along and had a great time. Christian is a delight to work with leading up to the event, and he does a fantastic job of hosting the event online. The set up was easy, the service was affordable, and we're hoping to schedule our next one again soon! “

The Virtual Event

I can host events on all types of online meeting platforms, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Hangouts.

I prefer Zoom and use it most frequently, but I am comfortable hosting the event on whichever platform you would like. With Zoom, I utilize their Breakout Rooms feature to allow teams to deliberate with each other privately during gameplay, which brings a great team building aspect to your event.

Gameplay

I use an online gameplay platform called Crowdpurr, a web-based platform where the questions are multiple choice and players have a limited time to answer each question.  We can customize how long your event will last. A game of four ten-question rounds usually last between 75 to 90 minutes.
